ANAC launches online workshops on Type Design Data with Relevant Effects to the Operational Context

Registration is open for those interested in contributing, by online workshops, with regulatory improvements on Type Design Data with Relevant Effects to the Operational Context. Hosted by the Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), the events will take place from April 27^th to 30^th solely online through a conference platform.

The workshops are targeted to Brazilian and foreign holders or applicants of type certificates or supplemental type certificates for aircraft having a Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL) or requiring type rating for pilots. Organizations intending to participate in any of the events shall enroll by the online form available on this link (click to access) until April 23^rd.

Each organization may enroll up to four participants per day, familiar to type certification or supplemental type certification and to subjects being discussed (MMEL or pilot training criteria). It is allowed, however, the enrollment of persons having generic knowledge on certification along with experts on the subjects under discussion.

As part of the development of the theme in the Agency, the workshops aim at obtaining contributions for possible regulatory changes, in light of the Agency’s strategic objectives. 

Each event comprises of an initial presentation from ANAC about the theme, its scope and status, followed by a discussion with participants regarding the existing regulatory problems and eventual expectations on those subjects.

The events in dates for which there are not at least two different organizations will  be cancelled. 

Agenda:

• April 27th and 28th, 2021, from 12:00 to 15:00 Brasília time (GMT-3h): event dedicated to Brazilian and foreign holders and applicants of type certificates, which will be held in English. On the 27^th discussions will be focused on MMEL and on the 28^th on pilot training criteria; 
• April 29^th, from 13:00 to 16:00 Brasília time (GMT-3h): event dedicated to Brazilian holders and applicants of supplemental type certificates, which will be held in Portuguese; and 
• April 30^th, from 12:00 to 15:00 Brasília time (GMT-3h): event dedicated to foreign holders and applicants of supplemental type certificates, which will be held in English. 

Social involvement 

Workshops are a way of social involvement which comprise face-to-face or online events, either open to the pubic or limited to specific segments, for discussion of regulatory problems, analyses, data, perceptions and other relevant aspects to the regulatory process.
