Concession object: Concession of the public services for the expansion, maintenance and exploration of the infrastructure of the airport complex.

Date of contract signature: July 28th, 2017

Start of concession: August 31st, 2017
(with the knowledge by the concessionaire of the issuance of the Service Order, issued up to 30 days after the publication of the extract of the contract in the Brazilian federal register publication)

Investments and works

  • July 28th, 2017 – Concession contract signature.
  • August 29th, 2017 – Effective date of contract.
  • April 2nd, 2018 – End of Phase IA. Transfer of operations from the Brazilian Airport Infrastructure Company (Infraero) to the concessionaire.
  • October 29th, 2019 – End of Phase IB. Delivery of mandatory investments:
    • Expansion of passenger terminal with capacity to simultaneously process 1,330 domestic and 340 international boarding passengers; 1,380 domestic and 340 international arriving passengers.
    • Patio for 17 aircrafts, with 12 parking positions to be served by boarding bridges.
    • Access roads and parking lots to meet expected demand.
    • Implementation of runway end safety areas.
    • Adjustment of graded areas of runway and taxiway strip of PPD 13/31.
    • Adjustment of taxiways, its shoulders and taxiways strips.
    • Adjustment of separating distance between taxiway A center line and PPD 13/31 center line.
    • Automated baggage safety management and inspection system, capable of inspecting 100% of checked baggage.
    • Cargo security inspection system, able to inspect 100% of the cargo shipped with international destination.
  • October 30th, 2019 – Start of Phase IC. Delivery of mandatory investments:
    • Recovery of service level.
    • Increase processing capacity of passenger terminal, vehicles parking lot and associated roadways: new contract demand.
    • Patio for 20 aircrafts, with 14 parking positions to be served by boarding bridges
  • December 31st, 2020 – Prescriptive investment.
    • Expansion of PPD 13/31 to 2,755m, E-Code in precision approach runway.
  • October 30th, 2021 – End of Phase IC.
  • October 31st, 2021 – Start of Phase II.
