The US-Brazil Aviation Partnership is an initiative aimed at developing joint projects in civil aviation between the Brazilian and the US governments. It was established in 2012, after the Brazilian presidential visit to the United States.

This partnership is a recognition of the importance and relevance of civil aviation to the socio-economic development of their countries, especially of the consistently high level of partnership between the two countries in different aspects of civil aviation.

The objectives of the Partnership are:

  1. Expand and deepen cooperation between the two countries in the civil aviation field, based on understanding and mutual benefit;
  2. Facilitate dialogue between government agencies of both countries in order to develop mutually beneficial cooperation initiatives; and

Enhance cooperation and understanding of the private sector, creating economic opportunities and promoting mutual investments, including cooperation initiatives in the private sector, especially those aimed at increasing efficiency, productivity and the capacity of civil aviation sectors in each country.
